Ok- if you're talking about Lost...
Ok, it seems to me like she was acting how she did was Ethan stole her was drugging her. Like "lalala, whatever you say Ethan...." and Jack's dad seemed to have a slight glimmer in his eye like he was lying.
If you weren't talking about Lost... nevermind, haha.
