Taking Care of Baby

Don't you love a good yard sale? Our next door neighbors are having one this weekend. We went over to say hi and bought a toy swing, pack n play, and high chair for a whopping $2.50. They're the perfect size for Sera's favorite doll. She needs to increase her vocabulary soon so she can start naming her dolls. Mom's imaginative name for this doll has been Baby. Any suggestions?

I vote for Mei :-)
All the babies in our house are called Mei (the Asian looking ones)

I have to say I like Mei too....or maybe Fred ;0)

The accessories are too cute!

I think you should just wait until she come up with something...she should soon....even if it silly sounding. Ben named his first stuffed dog, Taco...and we still have Taco...and love the name...and that he named him. :)

Just my 2 cents

At 4.5, Erin names all of her dolls "Baby." She has a bear from Build-a-Bear. She named it "Pink Bear." Wanna guess why? Oh. And the Hello Kitty she made at Build-a-Bear? She named that "Kitty Hello."

The funny thing is that I can still remember my favorite doll from 4. I named her Jodi. Don't ask me why I named her that & don't ask why I remember it. I just do.

I love the cute doll set though. It's so bright & cheerful. I really dislike pastel colors for myself & Erin so the red hit me.

Oh, I love yard sales! I found Snuggle Bug two pairs of crocks (amazingly they were both his size) for $1 each! Can you believe it? He now wears them all the time. :)

Love the doll set. Hope Sera does too!

Doesn't this baby have a name? Isn't it "Yang" or something like that.

What a great find.

She is just the cutest and getting cuter by the minute!

I agree with Marcia - she'll probably come up with something cute/funny on her own. Those dolls are named Cailin Yang. I have one for Lily Kate :)

When my DD turned 4 she recieved a life-sized baby doll that she named Laura with some encouragement from me. Laura is the only thing with a "real" name, the other girls are Baby, Big Baby, Uncle Dirk's Baby, Uncle Eddie and Aunt Pat's Baby, Smelly Baby (she was raspberry scented), etc.. Remarkably, DD is a very creative kid - just not-so-much in the naming department!
